Frank Prather, also known as Bad Ass Frank, runs an adult model agency under his pseudonym. Bad Ass Models will be sponsoring the Miami event at Automatic Slim’s with the consent of PSK co-creator and KSEXRadio program director Wankus.
PSK Miami will be seeded with local adult talent Hailey Young and Presley Paige as well as California-based stars Tricia Oaks and Kitty Wildwood. Prather, who started Bad Ass Models in February, hopes that the one-night franchise will help promote his agency.
“I’m already taking several models to Miami to work,” Prather told XBiz, “so we’ve got a lot of buzz from the production companies down there.”
The Miami event will not be a direct export of L.A.’s PSK, which is held every Tuesday night at Sardo’s in Burbank. Prather will not improvise songs and dance while hosting. “Wankus is an excellent host, so I’m not going to emulate someone where I come up half-assed.”
While Prather compares Sardo’s to a dive bar (“and I mean that as a compliment,” he said) where adult stars can be more relaxed, he says that the Miami version of PSK, because of its novelty, will attract “people who want to see porn stars behaving like what they think porn stars behave like, so I've put the word out that the models will need to have an aggressive stage presence.”
“At Sardo’s,” Prather said, “fans see porn stars where they live, in a group of their friends. They get a behind the scenes peek at their lives. Miami will need to be different, because it will be much more of a big thing here.”
Prather is a standup comic and a former professional bodybuilder. Moving to Los Angeles from Maryland, he briefly starred in the reality show “Cowboy U.” for Country Music Television. According to his web site, he “determined that he not only hated acting, but had no acting ability whatsoever.”
Prather aims to combine porn and comedy in his future endeavors, combined under the umbrella of his company, BAWDE LLC (Bad Ass World Domination Enterprises). “If next week goes well,” he said, “I can see doing PSK Miami quarterly.”
