The DVD, self-produced and available only in the MelissaMidwest.com store, is a takeoff on the popular MTV celeb-reality show, “Cribs.” Midwest said she’s been contemplating boy/girl work for a while and that she felt the time was right to give something back to her fans in the form of her first on-camera boy/girl scene.
“I made this movie for the long-term members of my site,” Midwest told XBIZ. “They’ve given me so much. They’ve allowed me to have financial freedom, which I didn’t think was possible before. This is my way of giving back.”
In addition to the DVD, video clips of the scene are available for MelissaMidwest.com members.
“It got to the point where I wasn’t really sure if I was ever going to do [boy/girl],” Midwest said. “I didn’t want to look back on my career with any regrets and I pretty much realized that I was going to if I didn’t do it now. I wanted to wait for the right time. I didn’t want to have anyone pressure me into it.”
The movie has been available since Monday and Midwest said that sales have already climbed into the thousands.
“Some people have told me that they’d like to see me with guys, while others said it would ruin their fantasy, so I’ve kind of been back and forth with it for a while,” Midwest said. I’m thankful that my fans are so great because I’ve gotten a totally positive response.
As for her plans to do more hardcore in the future, Midwest said “if it’s as good as it’s turning out to be, there might be more.”
