What makes SexQube.tv different from other adult sites, according to Petel, is the satellite broadband broadcast platform that forms the back end of the site. This platform provides SexQube channel editors the ability to “schedule content as per a standard TV channel, including full management of advertising breaks and country specific geo-targeted content,” according to a Petel press release.
SexQube.tv also features an extensive pay-per-view VOD library and instant tele-shopping function, according to Petel, in which users can make purchases by browsing, or using the “pink button” instant purchasing feature.
Petel COO Phil Evans said that following an extensive development and testing period, his company is pleased to have the full service in operation, at last.
“It is great to be able to announce the full live launch of SexQube.tv,” Evans said. “The final testing phases took longer than initially anticipated, but we did not want to launch a product until the final few bugs were ironed out. [Wednesday's] live launch means we can now focus on delivering our full marketing program, and driving traffic to the site. We have a number of initiatives ready to go and look forward to seeing the results in the very near future.”
According to the release, Petel currently is engaged in talks with a major sex toy and adult novelty brand concerning sponsorship of SexQube.tv segments and soon will make more announcements concerning new content and commercial partnerships.
