Last year's show made adult industry history by hosting FBI Special Agent Chuck Joyner in a two-hour standing-room-only discussion of the 2257 inspection process. Attendees had the opportunity for the first time to ask direct questions regarding the regulations.
XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes said the industry can expect another groundbreaking show this year, featuring similar one-of-a-kind opportunities in an intimate setting.
“The idea for 2008 is to build on the successful foundation of last year’s conference by addressing the current needs of the industry in ways we've never done before,” Hymes said. “We're planning a series of workshops that will bring together people from all areas of the business — producers, talent, content buyers — to help create dynamic relationships and new business opportunities."
XBIZ Director of Sales Kristen Kaye said custom-tailored sponsorships are available for the XBIZ Hollywood '08 show, and she now is accepting sponsorship inquiries.
"We want to ensure maximum and effective branding for our sponsors and therefore have constructed a new sponsorship program that will enable any company that takes part in supporting this event to be seen and remembered by everyone," Kaye said. "These events are about doing business, and we are confident that the new structure lends itself to that."
Hymes also said to stay tuned for announcements regarding official seminars and a roster of exclusive events, as well as news regarding the 6th Annual XBIZ Awards to be held Feb. 7.
