Channel 1 Releasing Parties for ‘Link: The Evolution’ Release

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gay multimedia company Channel 1 Releasing will hold events nationwide throughout September to promote its latest blockbuster release, Chi Chi La Rue’s “Link: The Evolution.”

A “Down and Dirty” premiere party will take place on Sept. 22 at The Faultline club located at 4216 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles.

The party will feature C1R partner, legendary director and DJ Chi Chi La Rue, who will spin on the turntables. Several Rascal exclusive models will appear including Blake Riley and Cole Ryder, along with Tyler Saint and Steve Cruz.

Doors will open to the public at 9 p.m. with a $5 cover charge.

The party will be one of several stops for the “Link: The Evolution Tour” that will bring exclusive models and performers from the video to various nightspots all over the country.

On Sept. 15, Rascal exclusives Eddy Diaz and Cole Ryder will be signing at 655 Leather and Fetish, while on the same night All Worlds exclusive and star of “Link: The Evolution” Tommy Blade will appear at the Vice Versa Club in Morgantown, W.V.

On Sept. 16, Manuel Torres will be at the Sea Tea Cruise, aboard the Queen of Hearts in New York City. On Sept. 21, Rascal exclusives Cole Ryder, Tyler Saint and Bo Matthews will appear at The Den.

“Link: The Evolution” is touted by La Rue as the “filthiest” yet in the series. The movie features “several depraved pig-sex scenes ranging from a very bad dog boy and filthy businessmen to a beer-soaked three-way and an interrogation scene — with a twist.”

Revisiting the “Link” series after a six-year hiatus, La Rue said it is the most ambitious production in the series to date, with a cast of 32 filmed over several days on location.

The three-DVD set is available on the C1R website now and will be in stores on Sept. 11.

C1R claims to be the largest gay entertainment company in the world and its lines include Rascal Video, All Worlds Video, Catalina Video, Dirk Yates Collection, Pure PiXXX, Electro Video, LiveandRaw.com, ChiChiLaRue.com and ClubCHANNEL1.com.
