According to Pure Play CEO Richard Arnold, the contest promotion has been well-received and overall promotional efforts for the Private brand have paid off in increased sales. Pure Play also has been offering flat-screen TVs and IPods as incentive to wholesalers to push Private product.
“Through some aggressive specials and promotions, we’ve given our customers a chance to increase sales of a world-renowned adult brand that produces the finest high-end content in the marketplace,” Arnold said.
“The results have been fantastic. Sales of Private titles have experienced significant growth,” he said. “[With the contest], we get to offer something back to the wholesalers/distributors, retailers and fans who have supported Private throughout the years.”
Retailers and consumers can visit the contest site and fill out online entry forms at the Private contest site.
There is a short survey for retailers to fill out on the entry form, asking about their in-store display preferences. Consumers can simply input their contact information.
Winners will be drawn at random on Sept. 14. One retailer and one consumer will win a trip for two to the Berlin Venus Fair, one of Europe’s premier adult industry shows. The grand prize includes also 500 Euros in spending cash and a VIP dinner with representatives from Private.
The winners will be notified via email on Sept. 17.
