The festivities occur at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on Halloween weekend, commencing Friday afternoon, Oct. 26, with the Exotic Erotic Expo, and concluding Saturday night, Oct. 27, with the Exotic Erotic Ball.
“The Ball” has been titillating San Francisco audiences with arousing amusement for over a quarter-century, and is widely considered the #1 adult-themed party event in the world, according to show organizers.
The Expo, a two-day event, features its own entertainment lineup, in addition to more than 100 exhibits showcasing the latest in exotic fashion, erotic art, adult products, games, websites and novelties.
Snoop Dogg will perform live at the Expo on Friday night as part of a benefit performance for The Healing Circle, the Center for Self Improvement and other Bay Area charities. Snoop will return the next night as a special guest at the Ball, where he will join Tera Patrick and Danny Bonaduce as judges of the Ball’s world famous costume contests. The 3 contest winners will share over $10,000 in cash and prizes, including four nights at Mexico’s plush Cabo Villa Beach Resort.
A customized Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted Animation Festival will be presented at both the Expo and the Ball, with Spike himself creating the all-star lineup for the occasion, mixing his favorite erotic classics with new never-before-seen shorts.
“I asked Spike to bring the sickest and twisted-est stuff he’s got,” said Ball founder Perry Mann. “I intend to do just that,” responded Spike, with a wink.
Musical performances also include the West Coast debut of The Spyderz (the latest rock troupe from Evan Seinfeld, ex-Biohazard frontman and star of HBO’s hit series, “Oz”), glam rapper Mickey Avalon and the all-little person tribute band Mini-Kiss. As part of its new mission to help discover and promote the best in sexy independent bands, the Ball has joined forces with indie music powerhouse SonicBids and is presently reviewing submissions from hundreds of hopeful applicants, several of whom are guaranteed slots at the Ball.
Paul Nathan, aka Unkle Paul, is back as host, emcee and ringleader of all Main Stage activities.
“He’s perfect for the role — smart, sinister, talented, and highly dysfunctional in all the right ways,” said Ball Producer Howard Mauskopf.
Nathan has already announced that the 2007 show will see the much-requested return of the Wheel of Depravity, a giant wheel that could land on Spank the Porn Star, Get A Public Flogging, or everyone’s favorite, Lesbian First Kiss.
“We’ll be flying in performers from Berlin, Japan and Amsterdam,” adds Nathan, “and I’m especially pleased that gorgeous Dutch Playmate and Fetish Model extraordinaire Ancilla Tilia will perform her internationally-acclaimed erotic shaving show, live on stage.”
The 2007 event also will feature dancers from Chippendale’s, lovely ladies from the newly reopened Mustang Ranch, a “Magnificent MILF” competition, an awards presentation to a still-unnamed, but highly worthy recipient, and an arts installation with the theme Make Love, Not War.

The entertainment is of a seemingly limitless variety — headline concerts, top DJs, erotic performers, exotic dancers, wild sideshows fill a large arena, an even larger exposition hall and several smaller themed rooms, covering six acres in all. The sets and backdrops are visually dazzling, and the recurring themes include art, fashion, fantasy, and humor.
The event always features a plethora of adult stars including superstar Tera Patrick, plus Violet Blue, Devinn Lane, Sunny Lane, Raquel Devine and others. p> Says Patrick: “I look forward to this show. The two-day Expo is open to the public on Friday, Oct. 26 from noon-6 p.m., and from 7-11 p.m.; and on Saturday, Oct. 27 from noon-6 p.m. Afternoon sessions are priced at only $20 per person, and Friday Night’s Expo, which includes the live benefit performance by Snoop Dogg, is $35. The Expo will also be open during the Ball for the enjoyment of Ball attendees.
Expo activities include Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted Animation Festival showings; the award presentation; numerous Ball previews featuring top burlesque and fetish performers; panel discussions on 1st Amendment rights with adult performers, moguls, and special guests; wine tasting with adult stars; fashion shows; seminars for businesses; fun ‘n games; erotic poetry; a spiritual oasis with psychic readings and massage; body painting; a classic adult cinema; and a human petting zoo.
“We’ve got the Motherplucker Feather Company selling feathered boas, a world-class shucker selling fresh oysters for libidinous enhancement, and we found a sculptor who will sculpt an exact replica of your girlfriend’s vagina, with removable labia that doubles as a smoking pipe,” adds David Stay, the Expo’s associate producer.
With the full weekend of scheduled activities, Ball personnel are preparing to accommodate a larger than usual contingent of travelers to the show.
“A motorcycle caravan of attendees is coming from New York, and party buses are coming from throughout California,” added Mauskopf. “We have secured entire floors of major hotels close to the venue, and are passing on bargain rates at cost, under $99 per night. We love it when people tell us they’ve traveled from afar to attend. This may be the best year ever for making that trip.”
