"We wanted a partner in intimate apparel with international acumen and a long-standing reputation for quality," Penthouse Media Group Inc. CEO Marc Bell said. “Coquette presents an ideal mix of capabilities for us.”
Bell, who made the announcement of the five-year deal at the International Lingerie Show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, said Penthouse lingerie will be sold at retailers in the United States, Canada and Australia, as well as Penthouse Boutique stores. It also will be sold online at Penthouse Store.
The Penthouse line features bras, panties, thongs, teddies, camisoles, bustiers and corsets, all created by Coquette designers with input from a Penthouse design team, said Bell, who noted that Penthouse Pet models will wear the attire in the magazine.
At the lingerie trade show in Las Vegas this week, Penthouse Pet of the Year Martina Warren and Pet of the Year runner-up Natalia Cruze will be on hand at the Coquette booth to sign autographs.
Canadian company Coquette International is based in Cambridge, Ontario, and has been in business for more than 25. It sells lingerie in six catalogues, as well at retailers worldwide.
