Aiming to support its talent lineup in a significantly different way than that of the major record labels, the music venture's first signed band is Lexington, Ky.-based Superunknown, which just released the single titled "Forever," written for victims of the tsunami disaster that struck Southeast Asia in December. The band is best known for its first record "Still Waiting," which will also be released through Hustler Hollywood Records.
According to Jimmy Flynt, manager of the Hustler Hollywood nationwide chain of adult retail outlets and cafes, Superunknown has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Red Cross Relief Fund for each CD sold one of his stores, and in turn, the Flynt brothers have committed to match the band's donation.
All Hustler Hollywood Records will be sold at Hustler Hollywood and the rollout of CDs will be in stores by July 2005, Jimmy Flynt said.
“This is a new direction in marketing for Hustler Hollywood. We feel that this collaboration will work well for the artist and Hustler,” Hustler President Larry Flynt said.
