The movie, which is on store shelves now, was released through Dane Productions, whom raVen briefly had a contract with. The partnership ended in January and lasted for only one movie.
RaVen has been in the adult business since 2003, and comes from the mainstream television industry where he mostly worked on dating shows such as “5th Wheel,” “Elimidate” and “Blind Date.” In adult, raVen has primarily shot camera and behind-the-scenes reels.
“Chatroom Sluts” features five scenes in both hardcore and softcore versions, and was shot at three locations over the course of 13 hours, raVen told XBIZ.
“‘To Catch a Predator’ is a huge show,” raVen said. “Since porn always spoofs mainstream, this was a no brainer. I had tons of fun directing my first movie.”
Adult star Trina Michaels plays the lead role along with Tommy Gunn, Lyla Lei, Derek Pierce, Kitty Langdon, Justin Long, Cassanda Cruz, Jack Lawrence, Christina Aguchi and JR Langdon. Michaels plays a TV journalist who tries to catch Internet predators, but in the end gets caught herself.
Though he has a sizeable amount of mainstream experience, raVen finds himself gravitating more toward the adult world because of the money and steady work, he said.
“Mainstream crews are much bigger depending on the budget,” he said. “Unfortunately there’s still a stigma if you work in adult, so I’m trying to find the balance. All in all, my first directing gig was a step up and I’d like to thank my cast for everything.”
Furthering his directing ambitions, raVen currently is filming content for 818Sluts.com and numerous Assassin Cash websites.
