"J-Ho" is a comedy featuring Cruz as a singer who is asked by a terrorist leader to do a concert in his country: if she does, he will renounce terrorism worldwide. When she voices reluctance to do the concert, government officials bring her to Washington to persuade her to do it.
"It's a goofy, zany romp," Jeff Mullen, producer of "J-Ho," told XBIZ. "But we aren't going to lose sight of the fact that the sex is going to sell this movie. We're going to be sex-heavy, because Renae Cruz was born to have sex."
The production included location shots at other Washington landmarks including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Reflecting Pool, the Jefferson Memorial, the National Mall, Lafayette Park and the U.S. Capitol. Scenes also were shot on SexZ Pictures CEO Bo Kenney's yacht on the Potomac River.
“We had a blast on that boat,” Cruz said. “Even though it was 100 degrees in the shade every day, it was worth every minute coming here. It’s so beautiful and historical."
"J-Ho" also features Eva Angelina, Sunny Lane, Alexis Amore, Kelli Tyler, Aurora Snow, Veronique Vega, Isabella Sky James Deen, Jeremy Steele and James Bartholet as a California Senator. The planned release date is Nov. 6th.
