Manjam Launches Gay Affiliate Program

MANCHESTER, England – Manjam.com announced the launch of its first affiliate program promoting its one-stop gay social networking website for personals, jobs and networking opportunities. The Manjam Social Network is considered one of the fastest growing gay online personals site to combine social networking, listings and person-to-person recommendations.

Using the boon in the online personals industry as a stepping stone, U.K.-based parent company Juxmedia has tapped third-party billing company CCBill as its processor and is offering 50 percent commissions on all referred sales and up to 50 percent on any additional sales for lifetime memberships.

Manjam has seen incremental growth in the first quarter of 2005, the company said, including a signup increase of more than 250 percent and a rise in its subscriber base by 200 percent.

In January alone, four months after coming out of beta, the site generated 6.5 million page views and 194,000 unique visitors.

Juxmedia attributes this growth and strong webmaster revenue potential to the popularity of gay niche sites, the use of its text, voice and video messaging platform and the site's integration of personals and classified listings.

Juxmedia specializes in Internet software, brand communications and consumer technology.

"In the world of gay personals, the ManJam brand seems to be ahead of the game by taking a more integrated approach to social networking," Grant Mitchell, partner at Juxmedia, said at the time of Manjam's hard launch in February. "We are impressed with the company's growth and the creative team's strategy and technical execution on many levels."
