The meeting's agenda will include the unveiling of the FSC's 2005 Strategic Plan and the ongoing review and discussion of the organization's activities.
Featured presentations by current FSC board members, including Joan Irvine from ASACP, will include topics such as using the adult community to put an end to child pornography over the web.
Irvine and Freridge are currently working on a public education campaign targeting mainstream media in an attempt to clarify the difference between legal adult entertainment and child porn.
"Often the language the media uses lumps them both together, and it's not the same thing," Freridge told XBiz.
Attorney Clyde DeWitt of Weston, Garrou, & DeWitt will also give a presentation addressing concerns with US 18 Section 2257, the Federal Labeling & Recordkeeping Law.
The meeting will be followed by a St. Patrick's Day networking party.
Organizers of the FSC, including former Executive Director Kat Sunlove, are also planning a lobbying training program from April 18 to 19 in Sacramento, California. The two-day Celebrate Free Speech Lobbying Days program is limited in space and will include a full day of political action training for participants, as well as a cocktail reception for legislators and staff. Applications are being accepted until March 18.
