North Hollywood, Calif.-based Jill Kelly Productions has inked a deal to license the rights to distribute a Jill Kelly-branded line of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories with San Diego-based Mad Engine Inc., which manufactures T-shirts and sweatshirts licensed by brands such as Nintendo, Mitsubishi and Marvel Comics.
Van Nuys, Calif.-based Vivid Entertainment, which has licensed products ranging from snowboards to condoms to hand-blown sex toys, opened a Las Vegas nightclub last month in a licensing agreement with New York-based ARK Restaurants Corp.
And Vivid has also made a bold move into the apparel business with cross-promotions with Ecko Jeans and Pony shoes.
In the case of its sex-toy line, in a partnership with Phallix Inc., Vivid contract performers are introducing the new line on Saturday at Crush, a Los Angeles retailer.
The sex toys include dildos endorsed by Vivid performers Briana Banks, Savanna Samson, Sunrise Adams and Mercedez, as well as Dasha and Kira Kener.
On Friday at 4 p.m., Vivid performer Mercedez is promoting the Phallix line on Los Angeles radio station Power 106 FM.
Even Canoga Park, Calif.-based Wicked Pictures is getting into the retail action.
Wicked spokesman Daniel Metcalf told XBiz the company has successfully entered into the trading card market.
“We’re doing real well with the line,” Metcalf said of the 24-pack set have a suggested retail price of $3.99.
Metcalf noted that a Wicked clothing line is in the works.
