LFP’s Michael H. Klein told XBiz that its Hustler TV division will handle all distribution, sales and marketing for the network.
"We think that this deal made sense for us," Klein said. "Since the launch of Hustler TV last May, we've outperformed our competition. And this expansion into the gay VOD market is just a natural extension of our brand."
The Falcon VOD titles will be available in various edited versions, as well as different hourly volumes to accommodate VOD server capacities.
The deal with San Francisco-based The Falcon Family of Companies includes content from Falcon Studios, Jocks Studios, Mustang Studios, Falcon International Collection and Falcon Alone With.
"Our familiar brands are already a favorite of the gay adult community and should prove to be an extremely popular VOD offering, " Conwest Resources President and CEO Todd Montgomery said. San Francisco-based Conwest is Falcon’s corporate parent.
It is the first VOD channel deal for Falcon. The company last year paired with VS Media to provide bimonthly Falcon-branded interactive web broadcasts for the Video Secrets website.
