AskJade.com Rolls Out New Search Engine

MELVILLE, N.Y. — The parent company of AskJade.com announced Wednesday that it has rolled out a new online-adult search engine.

Melville, N.Y.-based 110 Media Group Inc. said the new search engine lists partner and affiliate sites and ranks them using a combination of click-through ratio and subscription rates.

The company has a patent pending on the search-engine technology with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, 110 Media Group CEO Ray Barton told XBiz.

"[We’ve] worked very hard to produce an engine that is potentially as profitable as the pay-per-click model without the lack of relevancy that is produced by them,” Barton said. “Our search gives people the listings that are most likely going to result in a purchase — not just the highest bidder.”

Barton said AskJade.com’s new technology is expected to maximize relevancy of the searches and the revenues generated by the company from resulting subscriptions.

He said some of the affiliates already listed in the search engine are sites owned by online adult companies Flynt Digital, TopBucks and Gigacash.

Askjade.com is a division of Jade Entertainment Group Inc., which is owned by 110 Media Group.

Jade Entertainment also produces Redfire Video DVDs, available at RedFireVideo.com. The company said in April that it plans 50 releases a year. Jade Entertainment also offers content, including Brazilian-based video content and DVDs.

Publicly held 110 Media, formerly known as Dominix Inc., recently acquired adult content distributor CD-Media.net to bolster claims as one of the largest discount content suppliers on the Internet.

CD-Media.net has been operating since 1999 and owns more than 14,000 images and hundreds of video clips that it licenses to thousands of online adult websites.

The company plans to have the entire site revamped and integrated with additional exclusive content available in place by the end of September.

In July, 110 Media Group announced it would handle online efforts for Toronto-based NWWL Productions Inc.’s Carmen Electra's Naked Women's Wrestling League venture, which is shaping up for its September debut.
