Blatt told XBiz that he’s lining up a publisher and hopes to be finished with the book by the end of the year.
“The question was, why wouldn’t I put out a book on the how-tos of [marketing] celebrity sex tapes?” Blatt said.
Blatt wouldn’t elaborate further, but the veteran adult publicist does have a long record of helping promote salacious videos involving Hollywood stars and celebrities.
Blatt learned much of his expertise representing Marvad, the parent company of Sexbrat.com, the website that assumed it purchased the rights to the Paris Hilton video. He learned to insist on indemnification when agreeing to represent clients hawking celebrity sex tapes.
Blatt, known in industry circles as “KB,” later represented Red Light District Video’s “1 Night in Paris.”
In June, Blatt was involved in the Cameron Diaz sex videotape, and received a cease-and-desist order from Diaz's lawyers.
Blatt said the celebrity-sex tape business continues its upswing in popularity.
“Now, a certain woman in wrestling is shopping her own sex tape,” Blatt said.
Blatt later confirmed that the wrestler is Chyna, who reportedly filmed a sex tape with wrestler Sean “X Pac” Waltman.
