Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but the deal effectively combines efforts of two powerhouses in the adult-entertainment industry.
AEBN, or Adult Entertainment Broadcasting Network Inc., is one of the largest providers of pay-per-view content and hosted galleries. The Charlotte, N.C., company uses works from more than 800 studios and serves 65 different niche categories.
Palo Alto, Calif.-based FriendFinder Inc. operates social-networking sites Alto.com, Outpersonals and Lesbianpersonals, as well as AdultFriendFinder. It has an active membership in excess of 20 million and over 62 million registered members since its inception in 1996, and is growing its multilingual dating sites.
The companies say the deal with will bring greater value to affiliates and web surfers.
