VH1 Takes Close Look at Jenna Jameson

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Adult star Jenna Jameson vows to give up porn once she gets pregnant. But the Vivid contract performer also revealed Wednesday that she and husband Jay Grdina have been trying to start a family without any success.

“I'd give up anything to have a child,” she said. “I know that when I get pregnant, I will never step foot in the adult industry again."

Jameson, on the publicity-tour circuit promoting her new book, plans on revealing additional details of her personal life in a VH1 special Monday night.

The one-hour special, titled "Jenna Jameson's Confessions," focuses on personal details about her childhood, her relationships and her entry into the world of porn.

Jameson's autobiography, “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale,” is slated to go on sale Tuesday.

The adult actress also granted an interview to Rolling Stone magazine that was published Wednesday.

“I only came to realize how damaging I was to myself all my life when I first started writing my book,” Jameson told VH1. “How could I be this person this strong woman when I’m not? I’m just a really good actress.”

In the VH1 interview, Grdina, father Larry Massoli, brother Tony Massoli, her Vivid Video producers and Judith Regan, president and publisher of ReganBooks, take a look at the porn star.

The interview also takes a look at her Scottsdale, Ariz., home, where the 36-year-old lives with Grdina — also the director of her movies, co-proprietor of her production company and website, and her only male onscreen sex partner since 1998 — and her four dogs she calls “children.”

In the program, the Vivid girl also talks at length on her sexuality, a rape and depression.

“I realized that there was something missing in my life,” she said. “Even though I had a Lamborghini in my garage, I had 100 Louis Vuitton purses, it doesn't matter. None of it matters.”

The program airs Monday, Aug. 16, on VH1 at 10 p.m. (PST, EST).
