Porn producer and distributor Adam Glasser (a.k.a. Seymore Butts) told XBiz, “Basically the show chronicles my everyday life and those close to me. Audiences see how our videos are produced and shipped, and behind-the-scenes casting sessions. The day-to-day things our company deals with."
The reality series also documents Glasser’s private life.
“It gets personal and goes into the family relationship,” Glasser said. “I have an 8-year-old boy. And my mom, Lilah, and cousin, Stevie, work for the company.” Lilah is the company’s accountant, while Stevie has been involved with distribution.
Glasser told XBiz that generally, nothing is off-limits for the camera crew to shoot for the reality show.
“Things may come up at a moment in time,” said Butts, who added that he has input in the editing process.
Glasser called the money Showtime pays him for doing the series “acceptable.” The real payoff, however, has been the high-recognition factor that the reality series has given to Glasser’s family company. “It’s like a half-hour infomercial for us,” Glasser said.
Shooting for the next season of the popular program is set to begin in August.
