The show will air on the Independent Film Channel and features a competition between eccentric movie buffs vying for a $10,000 prize. Contestants are encouraged to debate film trivia and produce film memorabilia that proves how obsessive they are on the subject.
Lords, 35, will be joined by fellow judges Jason Mewes, known for his role as "Jay" in a series of Kevin Smith films, and "Shaft" star Richard Roundtree. The show is hosted by Chris Gore, a film officianado, writer, and webmaster of cinema-themed site, filmthreat.com.
Gore previously hosted two other cable games shows: "The New Movie Show with Chris Gore" and "Festival Pass with Chris Gore."
The first series airs on Aug. 6 and for seven subsequent Friday nights at 10:30 p.m. The first series is being billed as the "Northeast" competition, featuring six contestants from Brooklyn, Queens, and Bethpage.
Lords, whose real name is Nora Louise Kuzma, went from being a sophomore in high school to one of the most recognized porn stars in the industry by the age of fifteen.
Lords reportedly used a fake ID to pose as a Penthouse centerfold girl, but after starring in more than 100 adult films during her teenage years, her career took a nosedive when her home was searched by the FBI for drugs and evidence that she had been working as an underage adult model.
Lords is also the author of: "Traci Lords: Underneath It All" released in June 2003.
