It is Jenna Jameson’s third billboard to be erected in the area in the last year. The 48-foot high by 32-foot wide billboard proclaims the video and DVD by that name will be released by Vivid Entertainment Group on July 4.
The video is the first co-production of Van Nuys, Calif.-based Vivid and ClubJenna Inc. of Scottsdale, Ariz. The companies co-leased the space above Broadway between 47th and 48th streets in Manhattan.
The Vivid star only wears bikini panties on the four-stories-tall billboard, which is intended to push new traffic into Jenna's adult site, ClubJenna.com, and the company that distributes her films.
"Jenna Jameson is The Masseuse,” directed by Paul Thomas, is a remake of an adult film starring Hypatia Lee and Randy Spears. In the current movie, Justin Sterling, who also directs adult content, co-stars in the movie.
Jameson’s billboard location has attracted media attention worldwide, and it has raised the ire of the Methodist Church, which argued during its erection in August that her sign was permitted while the church was barred from erecting a billboard in the vicinity. That decision was later reversed and a Methodist Church billboard is now seen nearby.
