According to a spokesperson for Red Light, a distribution deal was inked with Solomon, the former boyfriend of Hilton and co-star of the tape. Solomon is the primary copyright holder of the sex footage.
Shortly after acquiring the rights to the film footage, Solomon launched his own website, TrustFundGirls.com, through which he marketed a re-digitized version of the sex romp for $50 per download.
A spokesperson for Red Light told XBiz that her company plans release the 3-year-old sex footage in VHS and DVD format in June. The tape includes added footage of Hilton in the bathroom and Hilton partying at a nightclub.
Red Light told XBiz that this is the first time the rights have been secured to package the content in additional formats. It is also the first time that the film footage of the hotel heiress and Solomon has been released under the title "One Night in Paris."
Red Light specializes in producing its own hardcore "gonzo" films.
Pricing for "One Night in Paris" has not yet been determined, the spokesperson said, and the terms of the licensing deal have not been disclosed.
