ASACP to Attend XBIZ LA

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Representatives of the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will be on hand at XBIZ LA events.

First, ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning will conduct a presentation titled “AV Legislation Updates.” Taking place Wed., Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. (PST) in room 506 of the Kimpton Everly Hotel, Henning will update attendees on age verification laws and how they impact adult creators and businesses.

“Rapid changes in age verification requirements and technology are at the forefront of many platform operators’ and owners’ minds as we dive into 2025,” Henning said. “During this session, I hope to clarify any confusion and guide attendees on the best paths forward as they seek to comply with evolving regulations worldwide.”

Henning will also present ASACP’s Service Recognition Award at the XBIZ Honors executive event.

“As the first major event of the year, the XBIZ Show attracts a broad range of industry stakeholders, including established powerhouses and newer entrants to the market, making it a ‘must attend’ gathering for the association,” Henning said. “Meeting with this mix of participants provides ASACP with a unique opportunity for presenting its message of corporate responsibility and the need to protect children as they live their digital lives.”

Henning also enthused about XBIZ LA writ large.

“The venue city of Los Angeles is also perfect for meeting with our Advisory Council and Board of Directors, underscoring the event’s ‘business first’ stance,” he said. “The XBIZ Show provides huge value to the association and the industry.”
