LOS ANGELES — X3 Expo has unveiled its 2025 screening lineup, which includes XMA-nominated titles "Birth," "Dirty Cops," "D.O.L.L.S.," "Project X" and "Spun."
All of those movies will screen R-rated versions edited exclusively for the event by their respective directors and studios.
Produced by Adult Time and lensed by multi-award-winning director Bree Mills, "Birth" is described as a psychological thriller that explores taboo themes surrounding maternal fantasies and infidelity.
The film combines elements of sci-fi and imaginative storytelling with immersive, provocative narratives that deliver a compelling mix of passion and suspense.
"Birth" stars Casey Calvert, Seth Gamble, and Leana Lovings as well as Codey Steele, Robby Apples, Tommy Pistol, Daniel Shar, and Alison Rey.
The movie has garnered nine XMA nods including Best Feature Movie, Director of the Year and Best Screenplay (Mills), Best Acting - Lead (Calvert), Best Acting - Supporting (Gamble), Best Sex Scene - Feature Movie (Calvert/Apples/Pistol/Steele), Best Cinematography (Michael Vegas), Best Editing (Clit Eastwood), and Best Art Direction (KT Wells and Modest Pup).
Earlier this year, Mills enthused about helming her first feature for Adult Time in five years.
"This is the first original feature I’ve written and directed for Adult Time since 2019 and it feels so nice to be back in the zone after spending the last few years helping others tell their stories," she said. "To be able to do this with a group of people who mean so much to me makes it the ultimate comeback."
Digital Playground’s "Dirty Cops" is a thriller starring Nicole Kitt and Alex Jones, two beat cops investigating the kidnapping of a fellow officer (Daniel Shar), who is being held for a multi-million dollar ransom by Scott Nails.
But when their potential witnesses are intimidated by Detective Harris (Jennifer White) and the chief blows them off, the two cops decide to pursue the case themselves, no matter what it costs them. And when their shift ends and they find themselves alone in the interrogation room, it’s time to blow off some steam — though little do they know that puts them right where the crooked Detective Harris wants them…
"Dirty Cops" has scored 10 XMA nominations this year including Best Feature Movie, Director of the Year (Ricky Greenwood), Best Acting - Lead (Jennifer White), Best Acting - Supporting (Kitt), Best Scene Scene - Feature Movie (White and Nails), Best Sex Scene - Orgy/Group (Kitt/Jones/Penny Barber/Isiah Maxwell), Best Screenplay (Shawn Alff), Best Cinematography (Matt Holder), Best Editing (Papa Bitch, Boris Dongson, and MZ Montage), and Best Art Direction (Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton).
Greenwood, who is up for Director of the Year, shared his excitement about the action-packed project.
“'Dirty Cops' was a very cool project, and the cast was perfect for this movie — everyone gave it their all,” he said. “It was like being part of all the action movies we grew up on, and Digital Playground gave us the opportunity to go all-in."
Adult Time’s "D.O.L.L.S." is a Transfixed production that follows three scientists who are trying to get three beautiful androids — known as "Trandroids" — approved for mass production as romantic companions. However, a bitter lab assistant sabotages the Trandroids, turning them into horny, rebellious escapees. The scientists quickly discover that the only way to revert the Trandroids to their factory settings is to have sex with them, resulting in an all-out orgy.
The ensemble cast includes Avery Jane, Zariah Aura, Bree Mills, Leana Lovings, Eva Maxim, Siri Dahl, and Khloe Kay.
"D.O.L.L.S." has nabbed five XMA nods including Best Comedy Movie, Best Trans Movie, Best Acting - Supporting (Avery Jane), Best Sex Scene - Comedy Movie (Aura/Dahl/Kay/Maxim), and Best Art Direction (KT Wells and Studio NV).
Digital Playground’s "Project X" opens with a UFO crashing at a remote location and a mysterious, beautiful woman (Luna Star) pulled from the wreckage. Captain Bullock (Monique Alexander) summons top scientists Dr. Allie Sharpe (Cherie DeVille), Dr. John Harding (Mick Blue), and Dr. Carl Ladner (Alex Jones) to study her condition, which they fear is contagious.
With the help of Capt. Bullock and his two lieutenants, Myers (Ryan Reid) and Hunt (Hollywood Cash), the scientists race against the clock to unravel the mystery. However, they soon suspect that the government isn’t telling them the whole story, and when a patient suddenly takes a hostage, everyone finds themselves locked in a battle for the fate of humanity as we know it.
"Project X" has earned nine XMA nominations, including Best Feature Movie, Director of the Year (Ricky Greenwood), Best Acting - Lead (DeVille), Best Acting - Supporting (Tommy Pistol), Best Sex Scene - Feature Movie (DeVille and Blue) Best Screenplay (Lotta B. Essen), Best Cinematography (Matt Holder), Best Editing (Papa Bitch, Boris Dongson and MZ Montage), and Best Art Direction (Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton).
"'Project X' was an amazing production," said Greenwood at the time of its release. "It really feels like a blockbuster movie, from the crew, [the] cast, and all the effort we put into the project. Everyone was on top of their game."
And finally, Adult Time’s "Spun" is a Girlsway production from the mind of award-winning performer and director Casey Calvert that trades on nostalgia, as this Y2K-inspired dramedy centers around a fateful game of spin the bottle. With a unique blend of sex and heart, Spun delves into themes of unrequited love and second chances, and offers a fresh take on familiar narratives for audiences to explore.
The cast includes Chanel Camryn, Lauren Phillips, Freya Parker, Electra Rayne, Lulu Chu, Liz Jordan, Maya Woulfe, Alexis Tae, Dana Vespoli, and Bree Mills.
"Spun" is up for four XMA awards, including Best All-Girl Movie, Best Acting - Lead (Chanel Camryn) Best Sex Scene - All Girl (Camryn and Parker), and Best Screenplay (Calvert and Mark Logan).
"Writing and directing 'Spun' was a really great challenge for me," said Calvert at the time of its release. "With this being the first Girlsway feature since 2020, I wanted to get as many of the fan-favorite moments into the script as possible while still ending up with something that felt like a Casey Calvert film. Shooting a film with this many girls over this many days was so much fun, but so much work, and I'm so happy with how it turned out."
X3 Expo will also be screening the first two episodes of Chaturbate’s popular web series "Cam_Girlfriend," which was originally released back in 2020.
The 10-episode comedic series explores love, romance, tech, and connectivity via the story of rising cam model Chloe Cables (Lily LaBeau) and her struggle to juggle her thriving career and her relationship with her live-in boyfriend, Mike (Dave Keystone).
