OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair Confirms Inclusiveness for Adult Creators

LOS ANGELES — OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair spoke Thursday at the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles, confirming the platform’s commitment to adult creators and stating there were no plans to raise money through an IPO.

“Everyone assumes it’s sexy content,” Blair told the audience, according to a Variety report. “Some of it is sexy content — and we’re very happy with that, we’re an inclusive platform, and we’re that way for a reason. We believe it’s very important for adult content creators to have a safe space, to be able to monetize and also to be able to do that alongside other content creators. We’re all adults, we’re all grownups, we can all choose what content we subscribe to.”

Blair spoke alongside comedian Whitney Cummings, who offers non-explicit content through OnlyFans and has been an outspoken mainstream champion for the platform and SFW side project OFTV.

Cummings stressed that comedians can also benefit from OnlyFans’ open-minded approach to sexual content.

“I like the idea of, ‘Let me go to this place that’s a little taboo,’ where’s not as much censorship, where I can recreate the environment of an actual comedy-club vibe,” Cummings noted.

Dispelling rumors about the company going public via an IPO, Blair said the highly profitable platform "definitely" does not need to raise capital by going public, adding that such a move could "sully its business model by having to cater to shareholders instead of being entirely focused on creators and their success," Variety reported.
