LOS ANGELES — Jasmine Sherni, Frances Bentley and Yasmina Khan star in the new limited series from Digital Playground, titled “Ghosted.”
Directed by Danny D, the four-part series also features Xander Corvus and Juan Lucho.
“After being ghosted by her boyfriend Dylan (Danny D), Nora (Sherni) isn’t in the Halloween spirit,” the synopsis reveals. “Sick of feeling sorry for herself, she tags along with her friends Liv, Kimi and Sam (Bentley, Khan and Lucho) to spend Halloween in a supposedly haunted mansion.
“Once there, Nora meets James (Corvus), who claims to have been drawn to the mysterious manor. They all decide to perform a séance. Nora is contacted from beyond the grave by her missing boyfriend and realizes that something sinister has happened to him. She fears her friends know more than they’re letting on.”
Sherni enthused about the project.
“Filming ‘Ghosted’ was intense,” she said. “There were scenes with a lot of emotion — not just fright but grief, disbelief and genuine terror. I was able to pour all my raw emotion into Nora; I remember running out of Nora’s bedroom after she saw Dylan’s apparition, and the crew in the hall thought I was going to launch myself clean off the stairs.”
"Ghosted" is streaming on DigitalPlayground.
