Flaming Hearts Media, Grooby Team Up for 'Queer Prom'

LOS ANGELES — OnlyFans management company Flaming Hearts Media (FHM) is partnering with Grooby to hold the inaugural "Queer Prom: Come as You Are" event at the Avalon Hotel in Hollywood on Sept. 4.

Created for the trans adult industry, local LGBTQIA community, and allies, a portion of ticket sales and sponsorship fees will be donated to charity.

"We are excited to announce our first FHM and Grooby charity event catered to the LGBTQIA community, where we want to relive our high school prom and want everyone to ‘Come as You Are,'" enthused FHM co-founder Foxxy. "A lot of us, including myself, never got to be the true person we were due to society, resources, family, or even just being afraid to live the life we should have lived during our high school years."

Added FHM co-founder Kristel Penn of Grooby, "A lot of us, including myself, never got to be the true person we were due to society, resources, family, or even just being afraid to live the life we should have lived during our high school years. We’ve been exploring this idea at Grooby for a few years, and it came up again last year in a conversation I had with Foxxy after seeing AI-created photos of our authentic selves in high school. Her sincere and direct, ‘Well, why can’t we do it? Let’s do it,’ to me was probably more effective than she realized. It was like she unintentionally gave me permission to do something for myself, and our community, that had felt strangely out of reach.

"Similar to the TEAs, this will be a community event rather than a public fan event," Penn added. "To cultivate safe space for our attendees so they can be authentically themselves without the pressure of being around non-industry guests and fans, we will be reviewing guest submissions internally for approval on a case-by-case basis."
