LOS ANGELES — MixedX has released the holiday-themed "Tale of Hidden Embers," directed by and starring studio principal Christina Shine, along with Lia Lin and Karina King.
The story follows Lin "as she sulks through a festive Christmas dinner with Christina and her stepmom Karina King and contemplates the idea of finally unveiling her truth and identity as a lesbian," said a rep. "'Christmas can be tough though, maybe it will make her more understanding,' Lin writes in her diary about her desire to share such truths openly, as Karina shares her own Sapphic secret with Christina before opening up to her stepdaughter in an unexpected — and extraordinary — passionate encounter."
Shine enthused about the concept.
"The holidays are about making unforgettable memories with the people we love, and that is what 'Tale of Hidden Embers' is about," she said. "We hope that fans take some well-earned time off over the next couple of weeks and enjoy the view at MixedX."
"Tale of Hidden Embers" is streaming on MixedX.
