Nicole Kitt Basks in Limelight as Award-Winning Actress

Growing up in Oklahoma with a very conservative family that held traditional Christian values meant that Nicole Kitt was sheltered from various forms of music and media. Only in recent years was she able to watch “Harry Potter” and “Star Wars,” after which she made sure to call her parents and playfully tease them about that taste of forbidden fruit.

But before she truly went full-blown liberty-loving rebel with a career in the adult industry, she held a position as the operations manager for a major telecommunications company. On the side, to keep things interesting and make more money, she moonlighted as a go-go dancer.

“Back then, I used to say that ‘I work during the week for my weekend job,’” she reflects. “Eventually, I started networking and branching out into other forms of dance like traditional vintage burlesque. A great example of this style is Dita Von Teese. I immediately fell in love. At that point I was working to fund the very expensive hobby of burlesque.”

Amid the backdrop of sensual excitement and personal expression with abandon, her telecommunications job became increasingly boring by comparison. Seeking some sense of adventure, once the pandemic hit, she opened the Pandora’s box of porn, which she had always found fascinating and mysterious.

“I had to know more,” Kitt shares. “I wanted to know what happened behind the scenes and it turned into a sport researching it.”

After doing weeks of research, she saw that many performers shooting for studios work under the guidance of an agency. After a frustrating day at work she decided to at least apply, since there was no need for a commitment.

“Next thing I knew, I was being called left and right,” she recalls. “Speaking with Sandra at OC Modeling was the hook and sinker. I loved the idea of being represented by a woman and she was obviously about her business. I walked into the office, quit my job and drove 20 hours to LA. The rest is history!”

The rest is history indeed, as Kitt would go on to win Best Acting at the 2023 XBIZ Europas for her lead role in Feature Movie of the Year winner “The Wedding” from Lust Cinema, as over a thousand industry peers cheered her on.

“The biggest lesson I’ve learned over the years is to be authentic to yourself,” she notes. “I’ve had the privilege to shoot various fun and exciting scenes but they didn’t always make me feel ‘accomplished’ at the end of the day. Sex and looking hot on camera isn’t enough for me. I need something challenging that stimulates my mind.”

To ensure she feels that sense of achievement, she has become very selective about the scenes she signs on to perform in. And when she is not doing studio-shot work, she maintains a presence on her premium social media platform with independent content.

“I’ve found that using a daily planner helps me keep track of all of my to-dos and leaves time for myself most importantly,” Kitt says. “If I plan things out too far, I often get discouraged. The key is setting flexible goals and adjusting towards your mood. I’m also currently working on launching a brand as a passion project. At this point it’s a secret and the idea is that no one will ever know I’m behind it. This has consumed a majority of my time.”

While she juggles shoots with indie content and her secret project, Kitt has found that the best approach to keeping fans engaged online is interacting as much as possible and building a genuine friendship. As well, posting consistently has proven key for her.

She also makes time to hone her acting skills.

“I grew up being involved in performing arts but never in my mind did I think ‘I’m going to be an actor,’” she admits. “I always was quiet and observant as a child into my adult years. Whenever I’d watch a movie I’d find myself critiquing the actors and rewinding scenes to try it myself. I earned the nickname mockingbird from that little habit and, of course, to my family’s dismay.

“Then, throughout the day, I would encapsulate that character and play them in real life,” she continues. “It wasn’t until Inka Winters asked me to audition for ‘Ashford Manor’ that I realized just how much I loved acting and how it made me feel performing. Acting has become life and expression for me.”

She also found shooting “The Wedding” with Erika Lust to be a life-changing experience, one that felt natural and fluid. Kitt compared the set to a well-oiled machine where everyone worked and moved in sync.

“You could tell we all wanted the project to be great, so therefore it was,” she says. “Winning Best Acting at the 2023 XBIZ Europa Awards put things into perspective for me. Before the show and during the conference I kept saying ‘if I’m meant to act professionally, I’ll win.’

“So as you can imagine, when I heard my name being called, I nearly broke down,” she adds. “I kept thinking this is what I’m supposed to do and this is where I’m supposed to be. It was a testament for the many things to come and was a very personal moment for me.”

When she takes a break from acting in award-winning films and making her own content, Kitt is fond of sailing and skiing throughout the year.

“Whistler in Canada is the best if you’re looking for breathtaking ski runs,” she recommends. “In between those seasonal months, you’ll most likely see me posting on the race car track practicing. I’m every wild man’s dream as my mother would say.”

Now, her long-term goals are crystallizing into a clear picture, aiming in one definite direction. Namely, Kitt wishes to make a full crossover from adult into mainstream.

“It’s been done before, but my goals include being recognized internationally as a serious actress and most importantly a talented actress,” she says.

“This takes time and years of study, but I believe it’s something I can and will do. If I can win Best Acting from my second lead role in one of the biggest productions in adult industry history, then I’m off to a great start!”

With that work ethic, positive attitude and ambitious outlook, Kitt is poised to capitalize on a blossoming adult career in the pursuit of global acclaim with nonstop momentum.
