LOS ANGELES — Digital Playground is releasing its new military epic feature, "Machine Gunner."
Directed by Ricky Greenwood, the title stars Kira Noir, Kayley Gunner, Nicole Doshi, Luna Star, Isiah Maxwell, Damon Dice, Scott Nails, Charles Dera, Alex Jones, and Tommy Pistol.
"The film follows a clandestine military unit led by steely Nikki Ransom (Noir) on the hunt for Colonel Riggs (Jones), a senior officer who has gone more than AWOL, all the way over to the dark side," said a rep. "To make matters more complicated, Riggs just so happens to be Ransom’s ex, and she is forced to balance her loyalty to country with the lust she still feels for Riggs."
Greenwood reflected on the challenge of shooting the feature.
"'Machine Gunner' is a very special movie for me on a personal and professional level, the biggest and most challenging movie I’ve ever directed," he said. "Every day on set, I felt like I was directing my dream movie, having the privilege of working with the best performers in the business, creating something unique and different for the porn industry. I’m excited for audiences to see how much fun we had with this movie, to see how much work that Kira and all the cast and crew put into it."
Noir enthused about the shoot.
"Working on 'Machine Gunner' was a crazy intense experience," she said. "I really enjoyed being able to play Nikki Ransom, a character who was tough, wisecracking, and sexually confident. I got to do action sequences I didn’t think I could pull off at first. At one point, I even gave a blowjob while partially suspended upside down, and that’s not even the wildest scene."
The first scene from "Machine Gunner" premieres June 12 on DigitalPlayground.
