LOS ANGELES — Blake Blossom and Lilly Bell star in "See You Next Saturday," the latest release from MissaX.
The title, directed by Craven Moorehead, also features Ryan Driller and Will Pounder.
As the action opens, "The marriage of Julia (Blossom) and Paul (Driller) is on the rocks — they've grown apart, stopped having sex together and he resents his wife being the breadwinner of the family," the synopsis reveals. "Julia's modest best friend, Christina (Bell), and her equally reserved husband, Vance (Pounder), are experiencing a similar lull in their marriage. With the newfound freedom in their marriage, he proposes a challenge for his wife — to swap spouses."
Blossom enthused about the project.
"This is my second feature with MissaX and Craven Moorehead," she said. "To make a long story very short, it was an amazing experience. The script was a little daunting at first, being over 40 pages, but with some rehearsals and great cast mates it turned out to be one of my favorite projects this year."
Moorehead echoed Blossoms enthusiasm.
"We all came together to make a great movie," he said. "Everyone gave their all, they wanted to project to shine."
"See You Next Saturday" is streaming on MissaX.
