MILAN, Italy — Wicked Pictures has been nominated for nine Doppio Senso Night Awards, including International Studio of the Year.
Seth Gamble’s ‘Deranged’ earned both a Best International Movie nod and one for Best International Actress for star Kenzie Taylor.
Gamble enthused about the nominations.
“I'm humbled and thankful to have earned a Best International Movie nomination for my feature-directing debut,” he said. “And I am just as happy to see my wonderful wife Kenzie receive the Best International Actress nomination."
"She really went to a whole other level in fleshing out the secrets that made ‘Charlie’ so fascinating," Gamble added. "She gave us a very transparent look at what true sociopathy looks like, while being wholly original and inspired in her take on the character.”
A rep revealed the rest of Wicked’s nominations.
“Two Wicked releases featuring Gamble, ‘Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,’ and James Avalon’s ‘Dark Is The Night,’ collected multiple nominations each,” said the rep. “Braun’s ‘Wicked Comix’ superhero parody received Best International Film, Best International Director and Best International Screenplay noms, while Avalon’s ‘Wicked Noir’ thriller earned Best International Director and Best International Screenplay nods. A third, Stormy Daniels’s supernaturally-tinged couples film ‘Hysteria,’ snared Aiden Ashley a Best International Actress nomination.”
