LOS ANGELES — Laney Grey and Codey Steele star in the latest release from Delphine Films, titled "Drought."
Directed by Bloomer Yang, the featurette "tells the story of a dystopian future where water has become a rare and precious commodity," said a rep.
Yang enthused about the project.
"The storyline is intense and captivating, highlighting the harsh realities of a world where access to clean water has become a luxury," he said. "They have to restrict the usage, and they get into an argument about it. I wanted to incorporate an essential element, such as water, that we all need for survival."
He went on to praise his co-stars, adding, "I loved working with Laney and Codey. They are wonderful actors, and they delivered a powerful scene."
"Dought" is streaming on DelphineFilms.
