Romantic Depot Nominated for XBIZ Award; CEO Glen Buzetti Gets Exec Award Nom

NEW YORK — Romantic Depot has been nominated for an XBIZ Award in the category of Retailer of the Year, while the boutique chain's CEO Glen Buzetti is in the running for the XBIZ Exec Awards' Leadership Award trophy.

“Romantic Depot is New York’s fastest-growing and most exciting adult retail venue, thanks to our kind and knowledgeable staff, unmatched product selection, and the warmest customer base in the Big Apple,” Romantic Depot CEO Glen Buzzetti said. “Our loyal clients are comprised of singles, couples and friends of all genders, sexual orientations and experience levels. We have worked together diligently over the years to create a remarkable shopping environment for the communities we serve.”

Since its first store opened in West Nyack, New York in 2000, Romantic Depot has provided tens of thousands of “lingerie and sexual health wellness products at affordable prices” for its customers. Complimentary items are also gifted to walk-in clients, whether they purchase or not, as a token of gratitude for visitors at every NY retail location.

Company VP of Operations Michelle Moreino said, “one primary factor that differentiates Romantic Depot from other adult retail venues is our toy testing station. Every customer has the opportunity to review the texture, features and functionality of any product prior to leaving the store. This ensures that our customers are confident, and happy with their purchases.”

Romantic Depot stores are located in Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Yonkers, Elmsford in Westchester County, West Nyack in Rockland County, and Bergen County and Morris Counties in New Jersey.

“We are honored to be recognized for our work within the community, and within the adult industry at large,” he added. “Thank you XBIZ, and to our industry peers for these prestigious recognitions. We look forward to seeing everyone in January.”

The 2023 XBIZ Awards will crown the best-of-the-best in adult Sunday, Jan. 15 at the historic Hollywood Palladium; in keeping with tradition, select award categories under Web & Technology, Pleasure Products and Retail will be presented as part of the annual XBIZ Honors ceremonies.

Voting is now open.
