LOS ANGELES — Performer Liam Riley, a.k.a. Bambi, was crowned the winner at the third annual Mx. Pineapple pageant in West Hollywood last week.
The drag competition, which took place at Heart WeHo on Nov. 15, was hosted by Sister Roma and Marc McNamara. Riley was named winner by judges Gemini Dai, Max Konnor, Rhea Litre and Morgan McMichaels. Serenity Dai (Adrian Hart) was chosen as runner up.
Presented by Falcon/NakedSword and Mr. Man, the event raised money for adult industry mental health support organization Pineapple Support. Sponsors included XBIZ, Chaturbate, Flirt4Free, SayUncle, Fort Troff and Next Door Studios, BelAmiOnline, Cybersocket, TLAGay, GayVN, MENatPLAY, Peter Fever, AEBN, Doc Johnson and the Free Speech Coalition. The pageant was the first time the show was presented live, after two years of virtual events due to the pandemic.
"After two years of virtual shows, Mx. Pineapple 2022 Live took the event to the next level," said Roma, who also created the pageant. "I'm so grateful to everyone who turned out. Our amazing contestants, celebrity judges, the L.A. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, everyone at Falcon/NakedSword, and of course our sponsors. I hope everyone will support these incredible adult brands — their donations to Pineapple Support made our fundraiser a smashing success."
NakedSword and FalconStudios will be releasing a recording of the event for streaming.
