LOS ANGELES — Brown University Philosophy Professor Richard Kimberly Heck will serve as guest moderator for tomorrow's edition of Twitter-based chat show "#SexTalkTuesday," from 5 to 6 p.m. PDT.
The show will focus on "the media’s influence on heterosexuality," a rep noted.
"We frequently hear the media railing against porn and how damaging it is, so it’s refreshing to take up this topic through a scholarly lense and take a deep dive into this complex and multi-faceted topic," said Angie Rowntree, producer of "#SexTalkTuesday" and founder of Sssh.com.
Heck has "worked in a wide range of areas of philosophy but in the last several years have been working on a cluster of issues concerning sexuality" said the rep. "Heck has published two papers (so far) on pornography, and is currently working on a book on sexual ethics with their former student Rachel Leadon."
Participate in the discussion by following the #SexTalkTuesday hashtag, and visit the show online and on Twitter.
