LOS ANGELES — Victoria Voxxx headlines Lust Cinema's “Sorrow Bay" under the direction of Casey Calvert.
Voxxx plays an evil siren, which provided an opportunity to showcase her vocal talents.
"This was an extremely fun and challenging project,” Voxxx said. “It’s one thing to remain natural and authentic when acting, but in this case, remaining 'natural' as an evil siren, seducing women with her singing voice, it was a challenge to figure out what felt ‘natural’ for her. Wearing a prop like the black contacts helped me decide that she was much more a creature with habits and body language, than a human to make relatable.”
The actress specifically highlighted working with Calvert and her team.
“Casey was extremely helpful, in her usual fashion, with my decisions about how to portray this character, and I am so thankful she chose me to be her haunted little mermaid. Go check it out if you wanna see who lives, and who ‘ends up swimmin'’ with the fishes,’” Voxxx continued.
Calvert spoke highly of Voxxx's performance and professionalism.
“'Sorrow Bay' is a psychological horror movie, and for that, I needed someone who could really commit to the seriousness of the part. It also needed an actress with a huge amount of presence. Victoria has all of that, and I wrote the part with her in mind,” said Calvert. “Victoria is one of my favorite actors to work with. She’s incredibly talented, and hugely dedicated. I've never given her a part, big or small, that she didn't throw herself into.”
“Sorrow Bay” additionally stars Aiden Starr, Brooklyn Grey, Kira Noir and Lilly Bell; additional information about it can be found at LustCinema.com.
