LOS ANGELES — Fangear.vip and GFE Model Services CEO Danny Ferretti is returning to work full-time on Monday following a health crisis.
Diagnosed five years ago with severe emphysema and congestive heart failure, Ferretti was rushed to a Philadelphia hospital last month with sepsis pneumonia. He was placed on life support, and was not expected to recover.
"He was in the hospital for 26 days," said a Fangear rep. "When he got out, he couldn’t stand or walk — and still can't. But that isn’t stopping him at all."
Ferretti expressed gratitude for the well wishes he has received from family, friends and colleagues.
"I have gotten a ton of support from a huge amount of people," he said. "From my wife Rachel, to our Fangear family and to all the models we work with, especially Kendra Sunderland, Kayley Gunner, Kenzie Anne and Nikki Benz."
Ferretti spoke with enthusiasm about the future of Fangear.
"I really want to thank everyone for reaching out and for being patient; we got a little backed up, but we’re full speed ahead again now and looking forward to new models and getting those calendars online for the October presales," he said. "You didn’t think I would let calendar season kick off without me, did you?"
