Urban X Awards Reveal 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees

LOS ANGELES — The 2022 Urban X Awards "Hall of Fame" honorees, sponsored by Dukes Dollz, will be celebrated with an in-person ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 18.

The recipients are Jean Claude Bautiste, Annie Cruz, Natassia Dreams, Nina Elle, Angel Eyes, Ana Foxx, Mya G, Ivan, Joslyn James, Jeremy, Adina Jewel, Phoenix Marie, Will Ryder, Rico Shades, Shaudam, Samone Taylor, Marie Luv, Rock the Icon, Sofia Rose and Vida Valentine.

A rep noted the induction ceremony on Aug. 18 will be followed by a weekend of "awards, fun and unity."

Adina Jewel enthused about the recognition. “I am very honored and proud to be inducted into the 'Hall of Fame,'" she said. "I could not have done it without all of the 'hard' work that was put in me."

Joslyn James mirrored Jewel's sentiment. "I'm very excited about being inducted into the Urban X Awards 'Hall of Fame' Class of 2022," she said. "It's been a great experience in the biz these last 17 years. I'm still doing great things with Brazzers, Naughty America and Reality Kings, all companies that I hold dear to my heart."

Sofia Rose added, "I want to thank everyone at Urban X for this honor. I want to thank my incredible fans, as well."

Will Ryder noted the honor is "quite thrilling. I am truly honored to be inducted into their 'Hall of Fame' and to be placed amongst such legendary stars."

Fellow director Ivan added, "I don’t have the words to describe how honored I feel. The Urban X Awards were the first awards show where I was comfortable being myself, the first award show that I received a win from, and the first that inducted me into the 'Hall of Fame.'"

Urban X Awards founder Giana Taylor noted the honorees "display the examples of our motto of diversity, creativity and unity. Please come join us for a weekend of reuniting."

Duke from Dukes Dollz added, "For many years, I've always wanted to be a part of this great event, and now I’m finally ready to come and have fun, and show some love and respect to the performers and producers in the industry who work really hard for our pleasure and entertainment."
