PARIS — LELO and luxury design partner On Aura Tout Vu (OATV) will include their bejeweled sex toys in a charity auction benefiting HIV/AIDS charity Sidaction at Studio Harcourt Paris on Monday, May 16.
As XBIZ reported, the luxury sex toys were first presented in January on the occasion of Haute Couture week. The On Aura Tout Vu/LELO collaboration has been available only via special order. Last month, Diesel also unveiled their “reinterpretation” of two LELO products, the Sona Cruise clitoral stimulator and the Tor 2 vibrating ring.
"Intimate accessories, of which sex toys are an integral part, have been transformed for a few weeks into real fashion items. Created for your deepest desires, the On Aura Tout Vu jewelry bags will allow you to hide your most intimate secrets," noted a rep. “Where innovation meets audacity, these exceptional pieces naturally find their place among the new creations of [OATV’s] Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov.
"It is through this power of transforming everyday objects into unique pieces that LELO, creator of emotion, wished to join forces with OATV, to unveil a unique capsule [collection] for all those who know that fashion and trends are all about personality and desirability," the rep continued.
“We are very proud to participate in this auction around intimate pleasure accessories,” explained a rep for the auction’s beneficiary, Sidaction. “The fight against HIV intersects with the issue of a fulfilling and responsible sex life. This also involves comprehensive and positive sexuality education for young people, which should make it possible to address themes such as meeting and discovering others, self-esteem and respect for others, and knowledge of the body and pleasure.”
Among the pieces expected at the auction are couture versions of the Ora 3 oral sex simulator, the Sila massager, and the Mia 2 lipstick vibrator, which will be transformed for the occasion into a pendant. The pieces highlight OATV signature touches like crystals, gold-plated cabochons and sparkling studs, which come with cases that match the shape of these unique accessories.
“We are proud to contribute to this project. By making this couture collaboration, we are highlighting the craftsmanship that is put at the service of a humanitarian cause,” explained an OATV rep.
The auction will take place at Studio Harcourt Paris on Monday, May 16, 7:30 p.m. (CEST). Collectors and amateurs are invited to participate through Auctioneers; secret purchase orders are accessible via Drouot and Interenchères.
