LAS VEGAS — Jamie French, who is now known as Jamie Kelly, is celebrating her "Transcendence Award" win from the 2022 TEAs.
The award was conceived and is sponsored by plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair to "honor the accomplishments of a trans performer who goes above-and-beyond, in business and community, in the trans adult industry,” a rep said.
Kelly expressed gratitude for the acknowledgement.
"I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this. Personally, the past year-and-a-half has been a period of extreme loss and heartache,” she said. “The only real solace I’ve ever had is burying myself into work. It’s the only thing that I’ve had from day-to-day. In my hardest times, I keep my head down and work. And that my work is being recognized in this fashion, it’s like, I didn’t work for an award. The way that I am being recognized right now makes this award the most precious and most meaningful accolade I’ve ever had in my entire career."
"There are a lot of people I need to thank. First and foremost, I need to thank Dan Hogue from TransErotica and Steven Grooby for allowing me to be prosper; despite my best efforts at self-sabotage, they’ve kept me paying the rent. I want to thank everyone, every producer, company and performer that I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with throughout the years,” she continued.
