SAN FRANCISCO — Sasha Grey is returning to DJing in the U.S. on May 6 with an appearance at the Empress Fridays event at San Francisco’s Temple Nightclub.
Grey made the announcement of her first stateside post-pandemic gig today via her Twitter account.
Following her emergence as an acclaimed performer in the mid-to-late 2000s, Grey explored her talents beyond adult, starring in Steven Soderbergh's film “The Girlfriend Experience” and publishing a book of her photography, titled “Neü Sex,” as well as a novel, “The Juliette Society.”
In addition to becoming a mainstream personality and multimedia artist, Grey has also developed a thriving musical career as a DJ and vocalist.
As a musician, a rep noted, “she's written and produced her own original songs and remixes. She's also lent her voice to tracks by artists Infected Mushroom, Current 93, X-TG (Throbbing Gristle).”
Grey's collaboration with Richard Fearless of Death in Vegas resulted in the 2016 album “Transmission” and the 2018 single “Honey.”
