HOUSTON — Following on a partnership between High Island Health, the parent company of Aneros, and Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit Zero: The End of Prostate Cancer, last month the company presented the charity with a donation of $16,010 based on the proceeds of the sales of a limited-edition product.
The check presentation ceremony was held on Feb. 16 in Los Angeles.
High Island Health and Aneros Product and Business Development Director Forrest Andrews explained that “as a company with a history of over two decades in the prostate health and wellness field, we are delighted to be associated with a highly regarded organization like Zero.”
Andrews added the companies are “overjoyed at the response of our customers to our special product promotion in support of this charity. It is our hope that this first donation marks the beginning of an ongoing relationship that will further the goal of bringing an end to this disease."
In November 2021, during International Prostate and Testicular Cancer Awareness month, Aneros released a special Men’s Health Edition Helix Syn Trident in the color blue, in honor of prostate health awareness.
“Zero is honored to partner with High Island Health and Aneros to help prostate cancer patients and their families,” said Jamie Bearse, ZERO’s CEO and president. “I’m grateful for their support and ongoing commitment to men’s health and wellness. I look forward to continuing our work together.”
