HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Chloe Cherry has been cast as the lead of an upcoming feature from director Harry Sparks, described as a Hitchcockian thriller set in the future where criminals are sentenced to a life of servitude.
Cherry has recently earned mainstream buzz with a splashy recurring role in the Emmy-winning HBO drama series "Euphoria."
The Sparks Entertainment feature, with the working title "Maid to Kill," begins as a secret government agency recruits an ex-criminal (Cherry) to post as a maid and complete an undercover caper.
Additional roles are still being cast; production is expected to kick off in March.
"Chloe is an incredible actress, and I had her in mind for the role when I started writing the script in 2019. I’m glad she’s achieved major recognition for her role in HBO’s 'Euphoria,' and I’m excited to get into production and let her really shine in this role,” Sparks said.
"Maid to Kill" be available in X-rated and R-rated versions; Sparks has promised a red carpet premiere for the latter.
