PEARL, Miss. — With Valentine’s Day approaching, Tami Rose, sexpert and owner of brick-and-mortar retail establishment Romantic Adventures, is promoting yoga as a way to improve one’s sexual performance.
“While lockdown and cold winter nights have given us more time at home with our loved ones, it can also leave us feeling a little bored with the same old routine,” Rose said. “Yoga is a natural place to look for inspiration when it comes to enjoying new experiences in the bedroom, but rather than a new acrobatic technique, try a new level of meditation and attention to your routine.”
According to Rose, the practice “gives you a whole set of metaphysical tools that make average partners astronomically better.” Her view is based on view that yoga’s seven chakras and a Vinyasa Flow can move energy more freely.
Additionally, Rose advises that people stay focused on their partner and to be attentive to energy flow.
“Tantra teaches that a woman receives universal energy in from her crown chakra and brings it down through her body to her root chakra, while men bring energy up from the earth and it rises through their energy system,” Rose explained.
She further detailed how important it is for one to pay attention to their partner.
“Your partner has made themselves vulnerable to your attitude and disposition, remember to honor them and appreciate the sacrifice of the ego they are making by being there with you,” Rose said. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
