LAS VEGAS — Aubrey Kate is celebrating the 2022 XBIZ Awards win for "Trans Movie of the Year" for her Evil Angel showcase "I Am Aubrey," directed by Dana Vespoli.
"I Am Aubrey" is the first edition of the studio's lauded "I Am..." docu-series to center on a trans performer. Costars include Chelsea Marie and Kenzie Taylor with Dillon Diaz, Johnny Hill, Ramon Nomar, Pierce Paris and Ruckus.
"I want to say thank you so much to XBIZ for naming ‘I Am Aubrey” as their 'Trans Movie of the Year,'" the performer enthused. “I’m so proud of that project in particular. I was an open book and showed not only Evil Angel’s famous hardcore gonzo scenes, but also shared many parts from my real life.”
