Sliquid Promotes Erik Vasquez, Kyleah Orwig

DALLAS — Sliquid has announced the promotion of Erik Vasquez to VP of marketing and Kyleah Orwig to creative director.

"Erik and Ky are the team that has diligently been guiding our marketing efforts for the past year-and-a-half,” Founder and CEO Dean Elliott said. “They make a great duo and can collaborate effectively to produce the interesting and distinctive content associated with our brand. I am grateful to have them on Team Sliquid and I’m excited to see what they accomplish in their new roles.”

Vasquez began his career with Sliquid in 2017 as a brand ambassador for the LGBTQ-focused product range, Ride BodyWorx. A year later, he was promoted to marketing director, for which he is a two-time XBIZ Exec Awards nominee for Marketing Exec of the Year.

In his new role, Vasquez is responsible for the results of the company’s overall marketing strategy.

"Under his direction, the marketing team will design comprehensive and cohesive marketing plans that set forth short-term and long-term goals, which include scaling brand awareness and visibility, leveraging existing and new revenue channels, implementing B2B sales support resources and partnerships and targeting new and existing customers to offer a better, more engaging customer experience," noted a rep.

"I am honored to be promoted to VP of marketing,” he said. “I have spent the last four years identifying, harnessing and executing the marketing strengths and capabilities of the Sliquid brand. I have a clear and solid vision for the brand’s future direction. I am proud to work for a leader in the pleasure products space, and I’m excited to play an integral role in ushering Sliquid into its 20th year in the marketplace."

Kyleah Orwig has been a print and digital artist since her hiring in June 2020. In her new role, Orwig will oversee all creative decisions regarding Sliquid websites, social media platforms and sales and marketing collateral.

"With her unique and varied creative abilities, which include illustration, video production and photography, she will play a key role in driving the brand’s overall aesthetic and visual representation," the rep continued.

"Extremely humble! That’s all I can really say,” Orwig stated. “I am extremely excited for this opportunity to grow in the industry and to expand my creativity. I can’t wait to help Sliquid grow.”
