LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles judge has set the date for the trial of Ron Jeremy on multiple charges of rape and sexual assault for May 2, 2022.
At a morning hearing today at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown Los Angeles, Jeremy’s defense attorney Stuart Goldfarb agreed to the new date.
At the last hearing in October, Judge George G. Lomeli said he expected the trial to begin in “the latter part of February, but we may have to tweak that date.”
According to Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon, Goldfarb told her that another lawyer, Katie Hardie, would be joining Jeremy’s defense. That information has not been confirmed as of publication.
Last month, XBIZ published the first comprehensive, chronological account of all the criminal accusations against Jeremy presented by the Los Angeles District Attorney's office before the grand jury this summer, a year after the veteran adult performer was arrested.
