'Ask Ezra Podcast' to Launch With Live Viewing Party

LOS ANGELES — The "Ask Ezra Podcast" will launch with a live digital viewing party Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 2-6 p.m. (PST).

The viewing party will consist of a live introduction to each of the first four episodes in video format, an audience Q&A and other guests, explained a rep.

The aim of the “Ask Ezra Podcast” is to highlight real people with intimacy challenges receiving guidance from Ezra Algos, the director of education at Sanctuary LAX Studios and Head Master of a leather/BDSM household.

"Ezra is a well-respected expert in regards to intimacy and the podcast will enable him to hear from people and the difficulties they are experiencing with being intimate, finding their kinky wants and needs and communicating them to their partner,” explained the rep. "Together, listeners will learn ways to overcome those challenges. Often, people can feel like they are alone on their journeys of sexual exploration, or that they have simply missed the boat.”

The first two episodes of the 'Ask Ezra Podcast' feature guests Nick and Melissa, a couple who both identify as switches. "Melissa has more experience than Nick; both want to develop hard skills and learn how to dominate without being domineering," noted the rep. "Also discussed is the importance of warming up, the arc of a scene, role-play and using 'chance' to keep everyone guessing."

The third, fourth and fifth episodes center on Miss Cat, a polyamorous sex worker living in Scotland.

"Cat is interested in learning about how to get better at approaching and propositioning partners and dealing with rejection when it happens," the rep said.

Cat offered praise for the overall experience.

"Thank you, it was honestly really helpful. I've been applying what we talked about in my relationship and being more forward and having good success,” she said. “Even just with confidence in telling someone I'm dating, ‘You're really beautiful’ and ‘I enjoy you’ and being very direct with how I feel. I had less fear of being rejected; the result was them being bashful and swoony and quite a few passionate kiss moments. So, thank you."

The event is free to the public and will broadcast on Zoom.
